Is there any way I can find out the going rate for a live-out nanny in my area?

I'd like to know the difference in rates between a nanny and childminder in the area.

You can tell us which area you're in and maybe someone will know or you can look on childcare.co.uk and local agency websites and see what rates are being offered. You could call some local agencies and ask.
