How would tell the family that you've been with the last 3 years that you want to leave. I dont want to leave because of the parents or children. I live them very much and theyve been great all this time.Its more me as I would like to work less 3-4 days .Help

Just tell them. If their youngest is in preschool they might welcome reducing their salary to you.

tell them, tho you also risk them finding a new nanny before you find a 3/4 day job

then again they may be happy and cut down hours/days/one parents manage to work from home etc
