Not sure what to do
Have had au pair live with us for 3.5 years now. She is great and in meantime has done childcare qualification. And i have had another child. So now more of a nanny than an aupair? Although only looks after baby one day per week at moment. Rest of weeknursery. How should I go about this? (do i need to register as employer for nanny
What's the norm here?!

How much do you pay her? That will dictate whether you need to register as an employer.

It's perfectly natural for roles to evolve, but just make sure you update the contract to reflect the new status quo. It sounds like you've found a real gem :)

I completely agree with fraktion. We had an au pair for 15months. She now works in a kindergarden. Next week she is going to mind our children 3 afternoons and I am going to pay her a childminder rate as she no longer lives with us.
