Ok ladies need advice.........

I had a fall on jan 3rd resulting in me breaking my shoulder in 3 places, my arm and my ribs

Parents have been super and organised cover for their children GrinGrinGrin

Doctors said i should not go back to work for 6mths to a year, but i feel bad on the parents so have decided to enlist the help of 2 friends to help me from 25th feb till summer hols

I have okayed this with the parents.

The friends job will be to lift the children into the pram, push the pram, change nappies and make food

The children wont be left alone with the friend, i will be playing with the children and doing the paperwork etc

My question is what do i have to do in order for this arrangment to be right with ofsted etc x

You need to fill in an ey2 form for them and get crb done and first aid if they are going to be left alone at all.

No they wont be left alone at all x

They can't take intimate care (ie change nappies) or be left alone with them.

You will need to complete ey2 for this and register them as your assistants.

You need to get them crb'd then, on the ey2. would it not be worth getting them first aid trained though with it being for 6 months at least then they could do school runs etc if you're struggling?

And my the way left alone doesn't mean while you go out to the shops. It could be whilst you go to the toilet.

If you are unable to change a nappy, I am guessing you would have trouble administering first aid, so it might be advisable to have at least one of the assistants qualified even if you are going to be around.

Yes being left alone means in the same room not in the house.

All of the above and you will need to register with tax as an employer too...
