Hi
I have had a few enquiries and each time I send a comprehensive handbook by email
For them to look at before they decide whether to visit me or not.
I am thinking about sending them all a feedback questionnaire on the handbook. Do you think this would be ok

I think it might be a bit overkill tbh. When you say handbook what do you mean?

Do you think parents are coming to visit you more informed about the service you provide? Does it allow you to focus in the interpersonal side at interview? If so then I would leave the handbook just as information.

If you're sending it to them to gauge opinion in your policies then I think you're sending it for the wrong reasons.

There are other, better, ways to get feedback in your handbook without potentially scaring prospective clients. Even asking them at interview whether they found it helpful/clear/informative would be a start.

I ask parents to complete questionnaire at end of settling in period and ask then how helpful they found the info I provided prior to child starting. Don't overwhelm them with paperwork before they've even met you - too much focus on paperwork is off putting and it means much more to parents that you show how well you'll look after their dc by meeting them face to face.

I agree that asking for feedback on your handbook (presumably your policies etc?) is overkill. I send parents a feedback questionnaire when they've been with me for about three months and their child has settled, and with no more than three or four questions.

Thank you. I will leave it as it is
