Relating to the other post re allergies and epipens?

Child has an allergy to strawberries and needs epipen if given, i know that this was covered in training but not indepth. does anyone know how to organize training, i dont mind paying for the training.

Most nurses at the doctors surgery will give you "training". Mine was a 5 minute job from the nurse at the hospital when DS was given one.
However if you get the parents to organise with their doctor I'm sure you could get training from the GP.
BTW it goes something like take lid off. Jab into outer thigh and hold in place for 10 secs to allow all the adrenaline to go in. Call 999.
Repeat after 10 mins if no improvement if approproate.
I have to say so far I've never used one i am just anal about vetting food.
