Ok .. so nearly all the mindees, DH , me and DD have now had a sickness bug. While I am languishing in bed today ... am I supposed to be informing anyone? Ofsted? HPA? Environmental health? I've never had a bug spread like this before :(

No, I wouldn't have thought it's a notifying event. It's not like there's been a major change in your setting or anything that Ofsted would want to know about, it's just unfortunate.

Thanks ZuleikaD. I'm just thinking of the fact that we're a 'food provider' and so many of our 'customers' are I'll ... also all the stuff about norovirus on the news.

HSMM - I did log with environmental health a couple of years ago when 13 people linked to my setting got an awful bug. They said they were the right people to have called although they sounded like they didn't usually get notified. I just logged the fact I called them. As we're in the same borough, I'd probably just do the same but you might be able to email instead.

Thanks Looney. I think I might just pop emails off to Ofsted and Environmental Health. (and Local Authority)
