CM club: new baby not settling in

I've recently started with a 7 month old and despite doing quite a few settling in sessions, 3 weeks in he's still crying pretty much constantly Sad
He only comes twice a week for 6 hours so I can cope with it but it is tiring (for him & me!) and I had hoped he'd start to settle down a bit by now. Any suggestions or words of wisdom?

I had a 7mo who started in August and did much the same thing. Trouble is it's the age for the start of separation anxiety. He will bond with you, but it's hard when he's not with you much. I'd get a robust sling and bung him in it for most of the time he's with you. It worked for me and she's now 11m and doing fine. I got a secondhand Ergo and wore her on my back most of the time.
