Just wondered what your typical day looks like.

hmm something like:

mornings - out and about including snacktime
back for lunch (provided by parents) or picnic out if weather suitable
garden or indoor play, incl snacktime til pick up
garden or indoor play til home time, tea for those who need it (provided by parents)

the out and abouts might be groups/woods/park/library/crafty place/cafe/shops etc dep on weather/age range of children and their needs and interests

Mine is like this:
wake up at 6am for 7am start
serve breakfast, tidy kitchen
go on school run
come back home for 30 minutes of free play, put a load of washing on
go to toddler group, park, soft play or stay home and do craft/cooking/messy play
heat up and serve lunch (leftovers from my family's dinner from previous day)
read story
nap time
clean up all the mess, write daily diaries, read various forums while little ones sleep
school run
snack followed by free play
cook dinner
last mindees leave
own children's bedtime routine
hoover up and tidy house
watch TV
go to bed tired feeling tired!

Ours looks like this :-

6:15 DH gets up
6:45ish I get up
7:00 dh breakfast/risk assess,
7:15 my breakfast
7:30 1st mindee comes in. (dh's) He feeds him and plays with him
7:30 I am in the kitchen sorting stuff like washing and food prep.
8:00 2 more children come in (although that is slowly changing this week to 2 more) They get fed their breakfast and then they play.
8:20 Dh goes on the nursery run with one going along for the ride.(used to be school run too but they have moved area.) I look after baby.
9:00 Dh picks up another mindee 3 times a week and then comes back to the house. He takes over the cooking I look after the others.
9:20 go to stay and play or 10:20 go to playgroup on a Tuesday.
11:30 back to the house for naps (baby sleeps earlier at group)
12:00ish lunch
12:45 nursery run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Or dh takes older ones out. to park or stay and play, younger ones stay and nap/play. (I have a nap when they are napping too in the same area, sort out diarys maybe up to then or housework)
3:00 Dh school run if there are any to pick up otherwise he comes back to the house.
4:00ish tea
after that they play till tidy up time about 5:15 or later depending on pick up time.
5:30 - 6:00 book reading or some t.v while wait for parents to arrive.
6:00 our tea as the mindees have gone by then (most of the time although we did work till 7 with one child the other day)
after that diaries, tv, pc etc and then bed any time between 9:30 and 12ish although I want to sort that one out for myself as I'm going to bed too late sometimes. Once a week I go out and we go for training/courses that we need to do too.
