Are you a childminder in Kilmarnock? Do you know one?

I'm a bit flummoxed to be honest.

My son is 8. I need him picking up from school and minded until around 7pm Wed-Fri. I cannot find any form of childcare that would suit us. I start work end of September and I may have to turn it down if I can't find anything.

Is there anything else we could do? Work are already being flexible with the hours so there's nothing more that can be done there.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Have you tried your local families information service if you have one? Childcare.co.uk or there is a childminder wanted section on www.childmindingforum.co.uk. Hope you get sorted soon.

Take it you've checked out scma.org? And scottishchildcare.co.uk (or is it .gov.uk?)

Thank you for your responses. Turns out I'm not needed end of September (or anytime soon) though so it's been rendered a moot point.
