I have no idea and wondered what the market rate would be (down south, not London)

Many thanks in advance :)

Im.North East, but £4 ph up here inc food

GnocchiNineDoors · 28/08/2012 21:45

Sorry, thats per child. however my CM offers halfprice for siblings - charges the higher rate for the youngest dc as they are harder work Grin.

So £4ph for the 2yo and £2ph for the 4yo.

FrustratedSycamorePants · 28/08/2012 21:49

£4p/hr for the 4yo in my area of the south. unsure as to the 2yo

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 28/08/2012 21:51

£4.50 per hour (each) plus food here in south east Wales.

Flisspaps · 28/08/2012 21:55

£3.00 per hour - inclusive of food and snacks - is what I charge (Shropshire)

Needalifeagain · 28/08/2012 21:59

I pay £6 p/hr just north of London including food. Market rate here I'm afraid.

HSMM · 28/08/2012 22:03

£47.50 per day for each child - Berkshire

ninjanurse · 28/08/2012 22:05

I pay £7.25 per hour for two children in the south east, that is for school age though.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 28/08/2012 22:05

I'm in south west and pay £3.50 ph, but think this is fairly low (have been using same CM for a while)

Rubirosa · 28/08/2012 22:27

Bristol, I paid £3.90ph, but most other CMs were more like £4-£4.50.

ChildrenAtHeart · 28/08/2012 23:34

£4.50 ph West Sussex

SeashellsAllezModInYellowAllez · 29/08/2012 07:31

Wow such a range!

We were being offered £5 and £4.50 each inc food etc, which seemed v steep to me.

I'm in London and 2 nearest to me charge £10 & £6. Per hour per child, no sibling discounts!

darthsillius · 29/08/2012 07:46

The £10 one doesn't include food either!

Tanith · 29/08/2012 07:51

£5 - £7.50 in my area of Surrey. There is a £2.50 one, but she's after school only and does very little with them: literally just keeps an eye on them until their parents turn up.

looneytune · 29/08/2012 07:59

I'm in South East (Reading, Berkshire) and charge £4.50ph, no sibling discount. This includes drinks, snacks, breakfast and lunch (but I charge for an evening meal), nappies, wipes, outings etc. so you need to look at the whole package as some charge less but don't include these things, may charge for their holidays etc.

Runoutofideas · 29/08/2012 08:42

I charge £5 per hour including food - £8 per hour for 2 siblings - Bristol.

ZuleikaD · 29/08/2012 08:49

Oxford: £50 per day per child, including all snacks and one main meal (either lunch or supper) but not nappies.
