My sister has decided to give up after 5 years and I now need to find a minder from after Easter.

I've tried contacting childcarelink and they can't help me. Anyone know of any minders who may have vacancies coming up?

Have you actually checked the \link{http://www.childcarelink.gov.uk/index.asp\childcarelink} website yourself? Can't believe that there are no minders!

I used to work in the area, and the Spar shop in Rowledge was a popular location for childminder adverts and for parents looking for childcare. Could be worth visiting and checking out the noticeboard (on left just inside the doorway). Obviously better if you're on the Rowledge side of Farnham.

Yes I've checked childcarelink and the few that have vacancies are either in the wrong area or can't do the days we need.

Thanks nannynick - will shoot over to Rowledge at the weekend....we're on the West side of Farnham so may be OK althought the nursery is on the other side of Farnham.

Hi Galaxy, I am a registered childminder in Mytchett, which is not too far from Farnham depending where in Farnham you are and where you work.

I am only working Monday - Wednesday (full days 08.30-18.00)not sure what days and hours you are after. I am available from 3rd April 2006

If this is what you are looking for please contact me on [email protected].

If I am unable to assist you, goodluck, you will find someone we are out there.

Is it only childminders you are after?

Im an experienced nanny looking for work.I have experience with children aged 10 months-11 years both in families and within a school.

I would be interested in hearing more details

Hi Galaxy, I am also searching for childcare in Farnham. I know you have a childminder now but if in the future you are considering a nanny share for a couple of days, let me know and we could meet up to have a chat about it. I am sth side of Farnham.
