CMs, would you do this?

Ok, so after my message a few weeks back about not having enough work I'm suddenly getting some enquiries! Only problem is none of them are suitable. I've had one today where they want pick up from a local school but not the one my children attend. I could do it if I pop my 2 in after school club for 20 minutes while I go and get the other child. It would be worth it financially as it would only cost £8 and there is a younger sibling who would be with me full time. My kids love after school club so I know they wouldn't mind.

I just don't know what to do though. I'm worried that if I hang on for a customer that fits in perfectly with my kids and their school I'll end up having nobody and I really need to get some money coming in. BUT I'm worried that if I take this customer on I'll end up not being able to take on potential customers from my own children's school. Argh, it's so difficult!! How do you make these kinds of decisions?!

If it meant a full timer, and it wasn't too much of a PITA to leave the kids in after school club then yes, I'd do it.

I would go for it too you might wait for a long time for the "perfect job"

do you have any family close by that might pick up your children from school maybe twice a week to help you out, then you only need to pay for afterschool club the other days?

Does the other child's school have an after school club, so you could pick your children up first? That way, if you get any more work from your school, you can take it.

A belated thanks to everyone who replied to this. I don't have any family to help out with pick ups and the potential mindee's school doesn't have an after school club unfortunately. I've looked into it a bit further and my after school club does have spaces, the family are coming to see me in a few days so we'll see how it goes! Thanks again.
