Best sites to advertise for a nanny/childminder?

Just wondered which are the favoured places to put up ads requesting a nanny/cm esp when looking for specific things like only 2 or 3 days p/w and experience with special needs (deafness), English as first language, ideally a mother / certain age etc.

So many sites, don't know where to start!

TIA

nannyjob

childcare.co.uk

I'd avoid gumtree as you'll end up sifting through hundreds of non suitable applicants.

You don't advertise for a childminder, contact your local authority (usually the Family Information Service) for a list: they may be able to specifically recommend some who have relevant SN experience.

SNAP childcare is an agency which specialises in nannies with SN qualificiations and experience but you will have to pay a fee if you recruit through them.
