Hi all.

I run a kids club and I'm doing a bit of research about childcare and the days we all use it and how we use it so I can see if there any gaps that need filling.
Are all your childcare needs being met? holidays? term time? preschool? permanent? Adhoc?

Would you use a Saturday kids club? all day? or 4 hr sessions?

What do you think?

I think this is very area specific, so you may be best of asking locally rather than generally. I am a childminder and regularly turn down work for breakfast club and after school club hours (Ie school wrap around). I tend to concentrate on pre-school children within the school day, so those extra hours are tricky for me to manage.

I think there is a need in some areas for weekends for nurses etc so maybe approach your local hospital
