How smug was I about not having another Inspection

When I stopped Childminding.

I became a nanny instead, Ofsted Registered, but as they only do random inspections and I was only going to work as a nanny for a couple of years, thought I would get away with it.

They are coming Wednesday.

Teach me to be bloody smug

Nothing to worry about. I've been inspected as a cm and as a nanny.

My 'inspection' took 30 mins and we must have spent about 20 minutes having a good old gripe about Ofsted and their OTT expectations of childminders!

She checked my certificates - paed 1st Aid, common core skills and insurance - I also had with me certificates of other courses that I have done and my car insurance showing business use. She asked me a few questions about Safeguarding the children and who I would contact if I felt their was an issue.

Are you being inspected at work? They need to have your employers permission to enter their premises. My inspection was carried out at short notice as they had a couple of cancellations so my employers hadn't sent Ofsted the relevant permission - I had the form with me and just gave it to her when she arrived.

Yep have everything in place and permission form has been sent out.

Not really worried, should be a doddle after my last Accredited CM one, that was three days!
