Nursery Run

Hello, this is my 1st post but I've been an avid reader of posts for the past 15months since my DS came along! I've just moved to New Malden and wondered if there were good mums/toddlers groups to join? I work full time but would love to meet local mums at the weekends or in the evenings, as I'm back in NM each day by 5.

Also can anyone suggest where I could find someone who could drop my DS to nursery 3-5 mornings/week? DH used to do it but has just got a new job with a VERY early start time Shock We'd need someone from 06.45 to 08.00.

I would suggest you re-post this with "New Malden" in your title. Smile

Do you have an FE college nearby? I had a childcare student help me with the nursery run. I just contacted the head of childcare courses and she mentioned it to her students (only had one applicant in fairness but she was excellent). You'd probably have to wait until sept before exploring this option though.

Also can't remember whether pp have already suggested this but there is a dedicated local childcare board on netmums which could be worth trying.
