Just doing a bit of planning and wondered if anyone has any good ideas they would like to share for fun activities. Have between 1 and 2 year olds. Thanks!

empty loo rolls...painted gold then gold glitter sprinkled on them.squares of orange and yellow tissue layered on top o each other(blob of glue in centre of each so the next one can stick on top)....small amount of glue round inside edge of top of loo roll...push tissue in top of roll(glue should hold it in place).....print off small pix of olympic rings to glue on front.they looked really good and were quick and easy to do.
...older kids made pompoms with red, white and blue strips of crepe paper

My lawn is mowed in stripes... so we are having races! I have chocolate medals too. Flag bunting... and a good chance to tell the kids about other countries and their cultures/dress/food etc.... make some of the dishes etc.
