Not sure if I am asking in the right section but we're going on holiday to Les Arcs 1800 this summer (Aug) and are looking for a bit of eve babysitting and a couple of mornings where we get a break from our kids (aged 2 & 4)
We both work F/T so are knackered and just need a few hours off ! We are staying in a private flat so not part of any holiday package. I have found a lady who normally runs a Ski season nanny service but she was reticent about giving me any references or information about herself (or any nanny she could supply). In her words she said 'we'd be lucky to get her & she had never been asked for references before'. That may be the case however it didn't feel hugely reassuring.
Ideally I would like to drop our kids off at a playgroup or have a local nanny take them to the park for a few hours. Any ideas much appreciated.
