Fastest CRB ever??

I sent it off 12 days ago and it arrived today. Yes, 12 days, including postage and 2 jubilee bank holidays!!!!

I know I'm getting very excited about something quite boring but blooming heck I can't believe it! Would this indicate an end to ridiculous 6-8 week long waits?

Mine took that long over Christmas once, I've applied for about 6 in the last year and. None have taken more than 2 weeks but think I've just been lucky.

When I had to be checked for a job in a school, the clear search arrived after 2 working days!

The system does seem to work a lot better than in the past.

I would guess that you have lived in the same home for the past 5 years... or were there multiple address checks made?

No Nick! I've had 4 different addresses in 5 years, I wish it had just been one address. Makes me even more astounded.

I did one online through a big agency back at Easter and it was back within a week. I was gobsmacked and they don't seem to have noticed i haven't paid for it yet
