Usually the Children's Information Service but you could try the childcare link website which is basically a nationwide CIS database

No probs! Not all childminders are listed as some choose not to but the telephone number for your region should be listed so you can always call CIS too.

Also, we have a list on mumsnet of all us childminders and where we live so let us know if you want that bumping up for you!

you know where it mentioned the "School pick up" on the childminders details... is that means only from that school (once my DD start school)?

it just dawned on me that im passing my DD over to a stranger!!!

Sometimes the list can say certain schools but don't rule out the fact they may go to others too!

I can understand you're concern on leaving your little one but we are all checked out by Ofsted and are mostly lovely people

I'm sure you will find someone who you think is lovely! Good luck
