Convictions on CRB, can you still register as a childminder?

Yes, I'm also aware of how many guilty people plead it. My first person I spoke to as a Prison Officer many many years ago claimed it. Let's just say they weren't the only ones but it only lasts as long as someone gullible will buy it. Then they stop.

Nobody can know anything for sure on here but I certainly don't believe it.

I have a caution on my CRB, not a conviction, and I am looking to register on the voluntary part of the register as a nanny... I have been told by numerous people that it will not matter, but a lot of people have also told me that it might! It's been there for 8 years now... and still goes against me on a regular basis!
