Did anyone make their own contracts etc or do I have to buy them all?

Just starting up and not yet sure how quickly I'll get enough children to actually be earning a consistent amount a month. Should I buy a pack of all the forms from the NCMA which seems to be about £70 or can I just make my own? With insurance and NCMA membership that would mean an initial outlay of about £170 which seems like an awful lot of money.

I have a child coming all day on Friday (I already know him and just a one off) so need to get everything sorted quickly.

Thanks for any advice.

Can you not just buy a pack of contracts from NCMA? Once I had membership of SCMA I was able to buy a pack of contracts for about £10 - they also do a pack of all the forms you might ever possibly need, but contracts available separately. I've made up a lot of the other forms (with lots of help from Bromley cm site) but it's so important that the contracts are legally binding that I use the SCMA ones.

you can also buy contracts etc from morton michel without having their public lib insurance which is cheaper than ncma.

Fab thanks, didn't realise could just get contracts!

Try eBay too sometimes there are packs on there. My friend likes the Morton Michel ones apparently they have permission bits too but if you're insured with ncma I think you have to use theirs to be covered.

Hi

Just to let you know there's a fab site called www.childmindingpaperwork.co.uk who do really good packs, ESP for new cm's. Def worth a look.
