Just wondering if anyone knows of a childminder available in any of the following areas

Polegate
Eastbourne
Battle
Hastings
Bexhill
Catsfield

My DS will be approx 5 - 6 months when I have to got back to work in April and I will need to place him for 4-5 days

I really really don't want to leave him but would feel better having someone reccomended from on here.

As in the title I would be happy for any Nanny suggestions.

Also any ideas of cost would be appreciated.

Please please please come up with something for me.

Us childminders are so tired out by the end of the day that we have to go to bed at a sensible time!! I'm sure more of us will be about during the day tomorrow.

Katymac has compiled a list of childminders on a thread somewhere, which lists towns/counties where we are ... I'll have a hunt ...

katymac · 08/02/2006 22:35

Here's the list - it unformats everytime I copy & paste and It's too late to redo - hope it makes sense

katymac · 08/02/2006 22:40

Why not do a search on each name in the archive...you never know - they aren't that common names are they?

katymac · 08/02/2006 22:41

Fluuterbee - It's nice in Norfolk??

flutterbee · 08/02/2006 22:41

Hit the childrens information service website - don't do links, but someone wil I;m sure and you'll get a list of cms in your area and they'll also state average price.

I guess you'd be about what we pay up here - average £3.50 p/h plus meals (most don't provide - I've found - for under 1's) ALso, may have to pay for excursions, trips to toddler grps etc.

Start looking now and visiting - april will be here before you know it and you might want to start earlier to settle the little one in but know you're near by if a problem.

I started my search on Dec 28th - returning march 15th - I'm still looking - down to two and got to sign a contract this week. dd's will go for a few hrs a week for next four weeks, then onto one full day and two full days from may 1st - I'm building up at work too - hence graduated step.

HellyBelly · 09/02/2006 09:49

link for you

flutterbee · 09/02/2006 17:19
