Can you use your Goverment funded vouchers for 3 year olds, to fund the cost of your Nanny?

To my knowledge, the Nursery Education Grant / Nursery Education Fund (which is what I think you refer to) is NOT available to nannies, or Approved Childcarers.

According to the SureStart website, some childminders are able to accept the funding - I think they need to be part of the NCMA Children Come First network.

Free Nursery Education - I can't find any really useful links, but this seems to be SureStarts main page about it.

AFIK you can't use the educational vouchers to pay nannies as they don't usually plan a curriculum for your child.

These vouchers are intended to help provide education for your child so can be used with childminders who are Accredited. This means they have to provide a proper curriculum like the preschools do, and they are checked on this.

Nannynick,
I asked you a question on your personal site - did you get it?
