Hello all!
We really need some help!!! What childcare options do we have???
We work in retail so don't work mon-fri & do shift work! We have 3ds 5,3 &1! We need childcare roughly 4days per week which would include the drop off & pick up of the eldest to school! & then to care for the younger 2! We do have a spare room so have room to have someone live in! We did think au pair plus but each agency we've looked at seem to give conflicting information!! So anyone who can advise and point us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

FT care for those ages you're looking at a live in nanny. Details to follow shortly!

Live in nanny may well be an option. Finding someone who is happy with a changing work pattern may be trickier but not impossible, especially if you know your pattern a month or more in advance, or if the shifts are fixed. You would be their employer so could dictate working days, working hours, working on bank/public holidays. You would need to ensure they got statutory holiday entitlement themselves. To enable that you and DH may need to spend say a week each of your own holidays caring for your children whilst your nanny is on holiday.
