Just wondering are the adults in Tweenies a husband and wife childminding couple or is it a very small nursery?

I think they're childminders. Not sure whether they're married or not?

I love the way one of them often pops out and leaves the other one with the children.

I always thought small nursery - I don't think Max and Judy are a couple. Am sure I have seen an episode from Judy's house? (disclaimer - is a long time since I have watched the Tweenies)

I thought it was a very small nursery...

I love the way that they just pop out, or in one episode I have no idea where max was, but Judy goes for a nap in the garden and tells the tweenies to leave her alone to sleep!

It's been years since I watched Tweenies (did love it though Blush). I remember wondering about how the adults are allowed to sleep when in charge of little ones. And also how they wore shorts and short skirts when it was snow outside brrrr. Think Max and Judy fancy each other, they used to get embarrassed when swapping Christmas presents.

Someone elsewhere on the site actually asked the BBC this question (can't remember who it was).

According to the reply she got, they are a childminding team: father and daughter.

Yes there is a purple one,( dog)can't c them as father and daughter! She has an Irish accent! I always send mindees off to play while I sleep, have a policy on it!!

I always assumed they were CMs, but not necessarily husband and wife, but then, I'm delving into memories as my dc are teenagers Grin. I have to say, you might be overthinking it just a leeetle Wink

I think Jake is 3 and Bella, the oldest, is 5.

I was surprised to find out that Justin Fletcher voices both Jake and Doodles: now I know, I can hear it Smile

Justin is dead spit of my dentist. Very unnerving as I always think he will turn into mr tumble as he drills me! Iucwim

I always thought that it was the grandparents and judy was his girlfriend haha !! Must pay more attention haha !!
