I am just doing the first course, I know there are 2 others after. We have to do this first one to keep our Childminding certificate, do you HAVE to do the other 2? I just noticed this one is 12 hours, but the other 2 are 60 hours!!!!

If you mean the ICP, DCP and ECP then the only one you HAVE to do is the ICP, it's up to you if you do the others or not. I haven't done the other 2 cos some of the childminders in my group told me I would be better off spending my time doing some of the courses from the training directory first (child protection, behaviour management, equal opps etc) and we are all doing Quality first as well which takes a year to do.
There are only so many hours in a day so you have to use your time wisely and I haven't had time yet to get round to doing DCP or ECP (only been minding for 2 years though).

The whole CCP course is being scrapped anyway, although if you are halfway through, you will be able to finish it. It is being replaced with a different course, but at an equal "level".
