Looking for nanny in NW3

i'm new to all of this and i'm looking for any advice on finding a good nanny to look after my 3 month old baby in NW3. are there any good agencies / websites to look at? any pitfalls to avoid? all advice is much appreciated!

I vote for nannyjob as well. Hi Jura!

I also recommend a book titled "The Good Nanny Guide" which can be purchased at Waterstones and a browse through www.nannyjob.co.uk.

Ask around here for interview tips and questions. Don't waste your time interviewing anyone who can not produce CONTACTABLE references.

Burlington Nannies are good.
I have advertised on nannyjob and it can work, as others have said I would just ask for original certificates of qualification if they have one, and first aid, and don't accept a CRB over 12 months old. Ask to see all written references and ask if these are contacble. Its not always possible for the nanny to provide numbers for all referees if they have lots of years experience as people do move around, but you should expect to speak to the nanny's last two employers at least.
