After lots of agonising given all my smashing parents 5 months notice, all shocked but hope this long notice will hope all to find good alternatives

Going to have summer off with dd, after 3 years of full time 10 hour days I can't can't wait.

Will miss kids but time to move on, had enuff of nappies, poo, lifting, school runs in bitter cold and of being knackered all the time.

And best of all no bloody ofsted! Yippee

Yep another here who hopes you'll stay around,#Good luck with whatever you decide to do next..

thebody · 01/02/2012 10:06

Thanks lots, tbh in the end it wasn't a tough decision as started to feel too tired to cope. That's not fair on kids and since giving notice I feel a huge release of tension and stress so no it was time to move on. Dh agrees too which always helps and dd is looking forward to seeing more of me!! I think!

Good for you - it sounds like the time was right for you and your family. I'm sure your mindees and theirs will miss you greatly, and I for one shall be sorry if you no longer give the benefit of your common sense and experience on all sorts of issues that crop up here.

thebody · 01/02/2012 14:58
