Can't believe they won't let you start the short pathway - how picky. I know they've tightened up a few things to do with entry requirements though, as before you could do GCSE Maths/ English alongside the top up on the long pathway but now you can't start until you have both.
Is your provider offering an April entry as well as January? If so & you can get onto it you could use the extra time gathering potential evidence against the standards & developing/implementing ideas for the written tasks.

finished my BA in Oct so I think its short pathway. Haven't read any of the paperwork yet!
