Hello, not sure if anyone is there at the moment but I've never had someone turn up late and I had a lady due at 2pm. Do you think this is normal or should I presume she's decided not to come?

Yep! No answer at home so not sure whether to phone mobile or leave a bit longer?

have you a school run to do in a while? If so I would not leave it much later than 2.45. In fact - give her a ring now!

Thanks. She turned up just as I clicked the post button .

Baby is soooooooo cute. 5 months old but tiny as she was 2 months early being born.

She told me that she's sure she wants me but I won't get too excited at this stage as I've read posts on here that make me realise you have to wait until a contract has been signed before you can get too excited!

Anyway, she needs someone to start in a few weeks so I should know soon enough.

Did the mum say why she was so late hellybelly? Just thought you don't want her to make a habit of waiting in for her arriving if shes going to be late a lot.

Late will be ok when the usual start time is 6.45am! She did apologise, think she just had trouble sorting dd out!

Now got another lady coming on Wednesday for another 1 day a week - her's is 3½ months at the mo and needed from March.

Thanks to everyone who suggested going with part-timers! Fingers crossed it all works out!
