Hi - if you are self-employed and employing a nanny, are you able to claim any of that back?

You might get tax credits to claim some back depending on your income but it's a personal expense not business.

As South345 says, it's a personal expense not a business expense so it can't go through your business.

sadly not. if I employed a driver for work, I could, but not a nanny to look after my children. Sexist if you ask me, but there you go.
