Looking for new mindees

I've been childminding for a few years and have always been really busy, however, I had a few children start school in September and am now really quiet and am looking for new mindees.

How is the best way to go about this? I haven't advertised yet, but just wondering where is the best place to advertise. How do most of you childminders out there get new mindees, and how do parents out there go about finding childcare?

I'm in the (Halesowen) West Midlands area if anyone is after a childminder!

Childcare.co.uk is great to search people looking for childcare but you have to pay to message them (there are a few discounts about), also check fis have your details correct, and www.childmindingforum.co.uk has a vacancy bit.

I did a leaflet drop round our estate and got 4 enquiries, 1 turned into a full timer and after schooler but not for a bit til her childminder didn't work out and she remembered I lived close by.
