Hi

I'm struggling to come up with new and interesting ideas for my weekly planning, and especially seem to struggle for activities for babies to do to cover the 6 areas of development.
So any suggestions for;

Personal, Social and Emotional development
Communication, Language and Literacy
Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
Knowledge and Understanding of the World
Physical development
Creative development

would be gratefully recieved! Thanks in advance!

follow each child's interests, don't plan rigidly (some of us don't plan weekly, shock horror) and let the children lead

lots of overlap - eg a treasure basket would cover all areas

Yes I don't plan rigidly but I am started to run out of fresh ideas. After childminding for a number of years, I seem to be doing pretty much the same activities and want something new to do. I often do the treasure basket idea....anything else anybody could suggest?
