if your first aid cert expires on say 14th jan, and you are booked on a first aid course that finishes on the 15th jan, is that okay? or should you try to get on a course that ends before the 14th jan?

I was advised to do an earlier course when I was in a similar situation earlier this year, but the date difference was greater.

In your case I would wonder at what TIME the certificate you have expires, as is it valid on the 14th Jan? Would you be providing childcare on the 14th Jan? Would your insurer care if it was expired or not... is the certificate needed for insurance purposes?

Personally I would get on an earlier course to save having any issues. Though it is only a day you are talking about, not a week or so.
