The best present I have received from a parent was a voucher for a restaurant for my husband and I to enjoy a meal. It is our wedding anniversary just after xmas so we went then.

I second vouchers, perhaps for a pampering treatment.

Or red wine!

Nothing child orientated!

how lovely, i have had some super presents from parents and all welcome from wine to vouchers to a nice hand bag or smellies, its the thought that counts anyway and its a nice one..

Lovely thought. Mine usually get me wine - can't imagine why lol, but vouchers for somewhere they doesn't sell children's things are always appreciated too, as are luxury bath products as I love my bath (but not body lotions as I don't use those...).

I like it when parents get something for my DD. Other than that - hand cream, wine, chocolates?

A nice note about why you are happy with your DCs care would also be nice.

Oooh wine always goes down well, no choccies for me tho as Im type2

I received a lovley lined, wicker basket of fruit once.
Some really expensive hand cream too
