I have a child leaving me next week, who i have cared for, for 2 years, he is off to school.
I was wondering if anyone had any nice ideas of what i could do, make, buy for him or his family. or if you know of any good poems or rhymes i could print for them.

What do you all do when kids leave?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

i havent been in that situation but i heard about something on the radio today i thought sounded quite a good idea, if you have photos from all the years you have minded him then super snaps (i think) do a make your own calendar which would be nice?

I have no experience either but for Christmas, I'm planning to give the parents (hope she doesn't come on here!) of my current mindee a CD rom with loads and loads of pictures and video clips of her time here, all done in a cool slide show thing (hope I don't run out of time ). I therefore agree that anything personal like that would be lovely - much better than a normal pressie from the shop.

Same as Helly - I put all the photos and video clips I've done over the years onto a CD for the family.
