Childminders Club - Can I blow my own trumpet - OFSTED!!

Hello all

I am so so so excited and really pleased, I have just had an Ofsted inspection and the grades I got were amazing!

Can't tell you exactly what I got as it is confidential until I get confirmation!

All of my parents are going to be so pleased and so am I!!!

Have to say it - But I am so great

and so are all other childminders who do a good job!

I didnt know that they were confidential. I told loads of people.

Well done Booh My inspector told me I deserved everything as outstanding but as it was my first inspection after registration it would put otherCMs noses out of joint! Sod the others I say lol

Well done, it's hard work but oh so rewarding when it's noticed

So pleased for you Booh!!! Think mine's tomorrow?? Said this week but not Wednesday or Friday and probably not Thursday so as it wasn't today......should be tomorrow!!

Hope I do half as good as you!!! (obviously won't get the same as I'm a new childminder and that would puts others noses out of joint!! )

I didn't know it was confidential until you get the report I told everyone as soon as she left.

(I only got satisfactory but I had only been minding for about 6-8 weeks)

If I was you I'd blow my trumpet forever - well at least until my next inspection!!!!

Hello

I have been minding just over a year......my inspection should have been months ago but Ofsted where too busy!! They had been out to see me as I had upped my number of children and started over night care, so just left it for a bit!

Happy to help if anyone needs anything!

This is what I do!

*Daily diary for all children
*All organic food/snack and drinks provided
*Daily activiites - jo jingles, tumble tots etc all included

  • Daily plan *Termly ' theme' and activites planned

Can't think of much else!!!

Yeah, I was just told the same about why we're not supposed to say anything - just in case their recommendations get changed or whatever. She said I can say what I got if I want but just not to go into detail at this stage.
