I gave my 2 mindees their notice last night! Thats it for Jennytots! No more!

Well I still have them till end Dec, but new year will be a new start for me! God only knows what I will do but hey!

Tbh I feel quite relieved and much happier than I have been in ages!

At least I gave it a go, but found that it wasnt for me. I think I lucked out on the children I had (cast offs I think they would be called!).

Look out on Ebay for some of my childminding items up for grabs!

I would also just like to thank everyone on here who has even given me advice - much appreciated.

Who do I think I am - sounds like a speach for an oscar or something! Sob Sob!

Anyway, thanks and goodbye! xx

I admire you Jenum! I'm on my way to giving up too, just need to get something else in the pipeline as I don't earn much but I rely on the money. Have you got anything lined up yourself?

JenumGeranium · 07/12/2005 13:17

Thanks santasweetdreamer!

No I am being really irresponsible arnt I?! I have started looking for jobs but its not the best time really is it?!

Luckily DH is behind me all the way! We will just have to sell some stuff on Ebay for a while till something comes up. I am looking into either working at a school or in a shop (have done that before and enjoyed it!)

I am sooo looking forward to the end of this month/year! I will have a good old celebration on New Years Eve!

Jenny - can't talk really as got interview soon and need to stuff a sandwich in me

Glad you feel better, will reply to email when things calm down.

Just a thought to earn extra money, maybe you could sell the rights for your website - advertise for childminders with similar name to you? You could sell at price you want and tell them to get their details on, they need to contact me??? If interested, email me and we'll sort something out!

gotta go!

JenumGeranium · 07/12/2005 13:29

Cool! Thanks Helen!

I will email you later!

Cheers, lady due in 10 mins!! Not expecting anything today though, just hope that she wants to visit again in new year once baby's here!

Will let you know how I get on! Really want a baby to look after!

ha .. I did it for one day a week for 6 months and hated having to be up and dressed for it every single time .. didn't mind actually doing it .. just hated the obligation (but then I was newly pregnant)

good for you

JenumGeranium · 08/12/2005 13:36
