Mum going freelance :(

I'm a nanny and took in this job at the start of the year as a sole charge position. Just been told by mum she's leaving her job and going freelance! So this means she's going to be home a lot more and basically get involved (interfere) with things!
She has worked from home before but it's only been for 1 day of the month!
I'm really not looking forward to this or very keen on it!
Shall I bring it up?
Or leave it a few months and see how it goes?

Thanks

I'd see how it goes in terms of whether you are happy to stay in the job - som nannies just don't like working with a parent at home, others are quite happy and things run smoothly.

But worth having a chat beforehand about how she wants things to work. Things like whether she'll want you to go out more/keep child busy and away from Mum while she is working/whether she'll want to be able to do more with her child at times during the day/how you'll handle discipline if child goes running to Mum if you've said no to something etc.

Thanks, that's a good idea.
We do a nanny share too I just can't see it working out.
