Good morning everyone, where can I buy safety film to cover glass. The Care Commission want me to cover a cupboard door with it. Thanks for any advice

You can get it in mothercare for about £15.00 per roll but i will say i needed 24 rolls to do a conservatory as they dont cover much. You can also get them in Focus if you have one up there and it can be as cheap as 7.50 per roll. It pays to do a search on the internet.

Jelly - don't conservatories get made with safety glass?

jellyjelly · 01/12/2005 07:42

yes most of them do but not mine, it is so old and i cant wait till we can rip it down. Mine is really thin glass.

ThePrisoner · 01/12/2005 18:19

You've got an antique conservatory!!! You can probably sell it on ebay for lots of dosh!!!

jellyjelly · 01/12/2005 18:27

I wish, i have a bulldozer on my christmas list!

ThePrisoner · 01/12/2005 18:58

Watch out - you might have to inform OFSTED first and put a written policy together (and get parental permission!!)

Don't forget - the bulldozer will need to have a health and safety inspection, and its driver will have to have CRB check.

I dont think Santa will be that generous and give me a conservatory and a bulldozer.
