CM Club: Damn & Blast; I hate recruiting

I thought I had my staffing all sorted for September and a new recruit has pulled out

I should have made that clearer. No, they cant count towards your ratios but can work alongside you.

That's not really going to help as I need someone in ratio

I have a small nibble; interviewing Wednesday

do you have some one who is crb check but does not work at you setting to come in and make the ratio up and your new person does the work

I suggest this as i though that everyone who lives/visit the house has to CRB checked

Not really DH is checked but not around

My Mum is busy as my dad is in hospital

But thanks for the idea

well maybe it might be idea to get a few more people CRB check
husband and partners of workers? friends? SAHM ?
just someone that might want to work as baby siter/nanny/motherhelp
that way you will always cover yourself
you could get them to pay?

It's difficult tho' who would be able to drop everything at short notice to 'come to work'
