Childminders Club: Would this be rude of me????

As a lot of you know, I'm now trying to fill a vacancy after giving notice for my previous mindee.

Do you think it would be rude of me to ask my current mindees mum if she had any idea's of where I could put my business cards/posters etc - places I may not have thought of?

I know they are very happy with the decision I made regarding the other mindee and I had both parents in my house until nearly 7pm last night, chatting about how happy they were with everything. I don't want to push it but I really really need to fill this vacancy asap.

What do you think?

I always tell my minding parents if I am actively child-hunting anyway. They may have colleagues who could be interested, or neighbours, friends or other family. You could ask them if there is a noticeboard at their workplace where you might display a card - it may well lead on to further discussions about where else you could put them.

Don't worry, went for it and she was more than happy to help. She said childcare help for other parents is part of her work so cool She also said to do some business cards for website business and she'll put those in places

A couple of days to reward them but only when they have passed the settling in period of 4 weeks so that they dont just use the day then run out.

HellyBelly · 25/11/2005 08:46

Got you! Will try that although I think my current one would help regardless of the money.

Thanks

p.s. my car is now broken so I'm also stranded!

i know that parents could try to get the free days/week if you give the reward straight away if you havent gone into full contract.

What is up with your car now? Can you comment on my other post yet again.
