Was it good?
What did you learn?
What's new in National Childminding Association Land?

It was brill! Although the workshop I did wasn't that good, the main speakers being Penny Tassoni & Peter Lockey(puppets by post) were brilliant.
The changes to the governance have been accepted, plus all the other resolutions were accepted. Liz Bayram is going to be the new chief executive, and they are starting up their own childminder vacancies scheme on a website in association with Care-4 voucher scheme. Morre information in your Who Minds when you receive it.

It was great . Roll on next year in Liverpool! As Badgerhead says, Penny Tassoni and Peter Lockey were fantastic. I could have listened to those 2 all day! We even had the Minister for Children there to speak. It was sad to say goodbye to Gill Haynes after 12 years as Chief Exec. The dinner was good, the dressing up for the Masquerade Ball was fun. I spoke to other childminders from all over the country. Well worth going!
