dd2 has found a lovely family in Spain via au pair world and will be going out there in September for a year as an au pair. First time for her and first au pair for family who have been emailing me and chatting on the phone. Can anyone advise a standard/good European contract which covers all the legislation and liabilities for both sides?

i dont know whether there are any rules or regulations in spain. i would think there are not. there is a contract on the council of europe i think, where the europian trety from 1968 is. you can also have a look on international association for aupairs, whatever the correct name is.

i doubt there would be a contract that would cove legislation of all europian countries.
