childminder help

not sure if this is the rite place to ask this, but if i was able to get a childminder for my son for 12 hours a week, would i still be able to try and claim for help from the tax credits people.

You must work at least 16 hrs a week to claim (and your partner (if you have one)must also work at least 16 hrs)
