Hello

Some of you may remember I have to give a lady notice but she's currently away at a funeral. Whilst she's away, mindee's dad is having them so I don't need to do school run again until Thursday. I will see the mum on Thursday evening when she collects mindee and then the next time will be Tuesday evening (unless it rains and after school club doesn't happen on Monday). I want to give notice asap for many reasons but feel it would be a bit much to do it the first day she comes back to me.

Should I wait until a week tomorrow to give notice? What would you do?

HB x

p.s. I hate all this!!!

Right, going to write my letter in a mo. Not sure who else is about but if anyone is good at wording letters - please pop your wording advice on here

The more I think about it, the more I don't know why on earth I'm even worried???!!! Not likely to bump into them again (apart from maybe Asda!) and won't be going to that school anymore so why am I bothered??? And the mindee really really wound me up yesterday as is just not healthy for me to be around

Anyway, if you have advice, please post.

Thanks

HellyBelly · 18/11/2005 09:35

Oh, so now it's BELLY and not Helly !!! You think I'm putting on weight?!?!?!!

Yes, going to use Katymac's wording (thanks for that Katymac!), just wanted someone else to write the whole letter

Only joking, just wasn't sure how to open the letter???

Dear x

As you are aware as i gave notice for x on x date (terms of contract states one week notice)the last date i will be collected from x schools is this date. If you find alternative arrangements before then there will be no further charge.
