Question for childminder regarding maternity

I have been working as a childminder for last 2 years...... I am planning to go on maternity in few months time and I am wondering if I am title to claim MA?

Princess and moogster thank you for your reply. I contacted my local jobcentre plus as advised and they said I am a title to get MA as my NIC is up to date and my weekly earnings are at least £30 a week :) well it made my day :)

hope they are more than £30 a week, they give you 90% of your weekly earnings or £127 depending which is lower
