Babysitting

Hi, I am wondering how much to charge for babysitting, I usually change £6/£7 and charge £8 for a small family who I also clean for whilst I am babysitting, hoovering light cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen. I've had an enquirey for a family with quite a large house (I was recommended by the other family) and I don't want them to take the mickey with the amount of cleaning I do, (if they do want me for cleaning as well) as I also work as a nanny in the week 8-6, so I mam pretty tierd in the evening for heavy cleaning.

I am fully qualified in childcare, experienced, crb checked, first aid, insurance etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

THanks xx

Why offer the cleaning to the second family, I charge between £8 and £12 for babysitting, I would clear away any dishes etc and would do some ironing if asked but I wouldn't clean at night the hoover would wake the children up! Why not enjoy the peace and put your feet up.

I haven't offered, but the family I do clean for at the moment gave her my number and said I babysit and clean. I've just sent her a quick message asking if she requires just babysitting or cleaning as well. So if she does want cleaning aswell I'll explain that I would only beable to do light cleaning as I don't think my back would take any more after 10 hours lifting a 12month old!

Don't pancic, she just wants babysitting!

Thank you x
